Latest updates:
We currently have plenty of snow for dogsledding here in Lake Elmore. We have been running our tours with sleds since December 28th and the trail is in very nice condition at this point. We seem to be very lucky this winter and have had several isolated lake affect snows hit us here in this area. Many of our guests have been amazed that there is so much snow at our trail location; as have I. I'm very thankful that we are able to sled this winter when so many folks around New England and the U.S. have not been as fortunate.
NEW
We are offering guided snowshoe excursions from our dogsledding trail location this winter. These are two hour outings and include a picnic lunch and some amazing Vermont wilderness. One bonus of the light snow cover is that the brooks and gorge on the tour property have some amazing ice formations this year. Snowshoe tours are currently available on Friday and Saturday each week and are offered at 12:00 and 2:00 daily. As with our dogsled tours these must be booked in advance to assure that we have a guide available to take you out.
